The 78 Club - Introduction

Witchcraft and the Occult has been something that I have found myself dabbling in since I was relatively young. I remember when I was eleven my father told me that if I continued reading into all of this [insert Spanish accent here] "Devil shit" that he was going to come to earth and personally drag me to Hell. I WAS ELEVEN PEOPLE! I'd be lying if I said this didn't for a second scare the undying shit out of me BUT I got over it after a few days of completely unnecessary paranoia and continued with my research in secret.

Despite my long term interest in the Occult, it's only in recent years that I have become more and more involved with the actual practice of Witchcraft itself. I mean, it also helps that I have been blessed with having such a supportive partner who encourages these practices and even allows me use her as my guinea pig for my tarot readings while I'm still learning. 

Which brings me to the entire purpose of this Blog and the reason I've decided to do it. 

Tarot is hard. 

There are so many f**king cards, so many different meanings and interpretations which for my thirty year old pea brain is a hell of a lot of information to retain. It takes some people literal years to start reading cards fluently. I still use a guide book every time I do a reading for myself or Amy and that is totally okay and normal. I mean, that's why these books exist right, to guide you.

So after a lot of umming and ahing I thought hey, why not learn with others and get ourselves familiarised with these cards together in order to gain a larger understanding of not just tarot, but -here's the extra fun bit- the Demons associated with the deck that I will be using.
